Creature, Phoenix

(Fee-Nix)) Phoenix

How well do you know the legend of the Phoenix? For most the answer is a glorious bird of shining, multi-brilliant feathers that lives its life one thousand years only to build its own funeral pyre and set itself aflame to be reborn of the ashes. Only one phoenix is alive every thousand years and its tears can heal all things. All of that is very true but there is more to the legend than meets the ears and eyes. She is a bird who holds immense powers within her fiery wings... and has magnificent as she is in presence and power she is just as kind, generous, protective and loving.

In spirit form there are countless phoenixes most of them originating from Lesbos, Chios, Lemnos, Thasos, Paros, Mykonos, the Cyclades, and Samos.

Only one phoenix is alive and breathing here on Earth every 1,000 years. Right now there is a phoenix that has however many years left of its thousand. Every thousand years previously there was one phoenix alive whose life spanned 1,000 years and then in rebirth a new spirit was blessed into the flames and the next phoenix has its chance at 1,000 years.

How many phoenixes are in existence in spirit form? Well, that depends on who you ask and what belief system you subscribe to because no one can actually know because there are conflicting theories on how old the Earth is... 1 million years, 10 million years, 100 million years? And of those million(s) of years when did the Phoenix find its first life here?

They share their powers of the bird's immense strength, spiritual healing properties, abundance of wealth, balance of the body and soul, amongst many other amazing gifts you will be granted!
