Riordan House

Why did we rate this "Confirmed"? Because multiple sources off the internet sites have experienced paranormal activity at this location & therefore warrants a rating of "Confirmed".

What's the tale? The beautiful log mansion known as the Riordan House State Park was built by the Riordan brothers who made a large fortune in the lumber industry. The home is haunted by Caroline Riordan and her daughter Anna. Their ghostly figures have been seen by employees and guests alike for many years.

What do we know as fact? Thanks to the Riordan House website found here we know the Riordan House was built by Timothy and Michael Riordan who married sisters Caroline and Elizabeth Metz. The brothers were millionaires by lumber and they built two 6,000 square feet homes side-by-side joined by a billiards room. The entire home and land was donated to the Arizona park system and you can tour the house just as they left it.

Thoughts: There's no doubt there is paranormal activity in the hotel. Numerous travelers and occupants of the Riordan House have reported paranormal activity on multiple occasions.
